War Requiem *In rememberance to the men and women who gave all so that we may live free.
Who will speak for us? who will know?
The Dust of those who chose
To fight for freedom and for liberty,
All Alone.
Who will know our sacrifice?
To those who lived and long have died,
As in fear and agony we cried
And our tears mingled with our blood.
And all Alone, our waxen clay still rest,
Beneath the poppies, stained crimson red.
For our scattered Limbs and nameless Debris
Are free, from the warring of humanity.
And God knows the Dust of those
Who chose, to fight for freedom and for liberty-
All Alone.
