Waltz of Balance

Darkness drew back his bowstring,

With his swift fingers and violin,

He played until the Sunlight

Made her presence known to him,

Even then he played.

He played and played

Until his fingers fell apart

In ribbons,

And his heart became

A mess of undecipherable mass.

No shadows were left to play.

Sunlight moved toward her harp,

And caved to the song.
