The Wall

When friends are nigh,

Then happiness is felt;

But when ignored,

The heart then does melt.

How sorrow works

To harden a soul!

Loneliness turns

To bitterness whole.

The wall goes up,

The fence around

To shut out some

Of they that abound.

Grow close to Christ.

He'll be your best Friend,

Give you new love,

And help your heart mend.
