The sea runs through my veins 
And stars have landed in my eyes

I wish to travel the stars 
To see them in their natural glory

The sea in my veins would be my reminder of home 
While the stars in my eyes would weep 
At seeing their home again

All would be perfectly peaceful
But alas my dream cannot come true

For I am but a simple human tethered to this planet
Although if I could go up and see the Universe
With my own star-filled eyes

I would surely never come down
