Tonight, I went back to a simpler time

One before you, where my heart was light

Here,I saw the most amazing sunset 

And here, I captured the most beautiful silhouettes

The wind was perfect, the weather just right

I walked and I smiled at the wonderful sight 

Tonight I was brought back to a time before you

A time when my laugh and my smile were true

Now here I stand, my heart calmly aching

And soon I’ll sit, my own hero in the making

But here I’ll stay, the girl who’s traveled so far

And I’ll continue to move on, still holding you in my heart
