Waking from a daydream ...

Philippians 2:14-15

14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing,

15 so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God

without blemish though you live in a crooked and perverse society,

in which you shine as lights in the world

Waking up from a daydream ... lost in outer space

Trying to find self ... or just a familiar face

Why I’m lost again ... in a world not my own

So habit forming... as my longings roam.

Is this now existence ... can’t be an illusion

Thinking a way out ... in thought only confusion

Detrimental reality ... lingering now aimless

Hoping that in all of this I find myself blameless
