The Waiting Chair

No such thing complexity is

A state of mind in all its being

Hope and fear gather here

To try and give someone some more time

Those who weep because of the unknown

Can be comforted by the love they have shown

Their other half is out there somewhere

Crying out for their healing in despair

A constant struggle throughout the years

A loss of hope keeps growing near

Those who are strong can withstand the heat

As long as they and their loved ones cant be beat

As I sit in this chair for hours on end

Contemplating when my soul will ascend

Once they find a cure to relieve my pain

My soul will rejoice and all I will gain

Is a boost of love and gratitude

While my friends also change their attitude

So in turn if we all want to be happy,

We will never ever give up on this tragedy.
