Dear Oppressors,

The ultimate darkness. Is that why you fear me? Because you can't see me? But you can. That's why you fear me. I’m from infinity - where God resides. The gift is in me. That’s where it hides. But I realize there’s a path laid before me carved out by my ancestors. I’m black and prouder than ever. Haters can hate forever. With God I’ll always come out better. And though it may sound clever, I’m just telling the truth like Sojourner. So when you ask me where I came from or who I belong to, I'll just tell you ‘the void.’ The ultimate darkness.
