Voice what does it mean

It can be communicated through a song, or a scene

When feelings come out through our art our voice gets the chance to be heard and it’s not reduced to just a few words

Voices are views and opinions

In a world with social issue it’s important we don’t censor because issues only get denser

We live in a world where skin color is crime

Immigrants are reduced to grime

Sexual harassment is at its prime

Guns are given out for top dime

And Trump is tweeting all the time

They say this is the land of opportunity but what we lack is unity

who are they

They are those trying to speak over us and prohibit us from being heard, acting as if our voices are dead or absurd

Some use their voices to spread negativity instead of positive things

So when we do find our voice it’s as amazing as winning those champ rings

Finding and sharing our voices is our tribute to society

And just like show it and can be done in a variety

If you want people to care 

you have to share

and not hide in despair.

the time is now for us to make some traction

Be the catalyst for some action!

No more will we be silenced.
