A Vision In Black

I had this vision
That you had died
The most horrible of deaths
You lay there cut into two
And your entire being covered in red

I found you in your car
The place this crime took place
I could see in your now dead eyes
A man who had never been
And I cried a thousand rivers

When I came upon your corpse
I had no idea what to do
So I climbed into your car
Then lay by your side
And let myself become red

I held you in my arms
To try and bring you back to life
Even though I knew
You had been gone a long time
I didn't want to believe this

I had this thought
As I screamed for you
That somewhere you could
Hear me mourn my loss
Of a life that never could've been

When someone found us
Lying there colored in the red
I had no words to describe the scene
Of you cut into half
And me in such hysterics

They called the police
And a coroner to state
The time of your premature death
An ambulance carried me away
Because I didn't want to leave you

I couldn't bear to see you
That way all sewn up
And preserved in your coffin
So I sat in the farthest pew
Of you father's church to pray

As the pastor said his prayer
For God to take you away
From this world and place you
In his own I got upset
They didn't know you hated roses

It was quite a decrepit vision
To have while I was daydreaming
As I looked upon the crowd
I observed a mass of black garb
It was then I knew I was fully awake

Hey there citizens around the world! How about we STOP talking on our phones while driving? Lets learn from our mistakes rather then hoping it doesn't happen to us. No message is more important than an unfinished life.
