Vengeance

Remember

That time will not rewind

To undo injustices

Inflicted by our fear and hate.

To inflicted the same

Injustices with a vengeance

And your fear and hate,

Know that time will not unwind

But don’t let history repeat.

As we once were blind

But now in the light,

Now can’t you see?

Trust in your brothers

And rely in our strength

That history will not repeat.

Time to shed the blood

Of our kinsman has passed

This war upon ourselves

Has run its course.

It is time to lay the dead to rest

And return to peace

Where we exist

Your hand in mine, and mine is yours.

Not to push the other down to the dirt,

But rise above the ashes

Of a world gone wrong

To leave it long gone.

When the blood of brothers is dried

And their souls at rest

May we find peace within ourselves.

And may our darkest hours

Never rise to current events again.
