Vanilla Ice Cream

Once you seemed so sweet

Now you seem somewhat bereft

Of what made my time feel complete

We’ve grown apart, you and I

Yet still you seek

In my lips, to lie

The more we’re forced together

The more I wish

to be split apart forever

We’ve come to the end of our journey

Now in others, pleasure will be sought

I will pursue what pleases me

May you find another you can fill

In this world of billions

I sure you wil.
