Values

Psalm 116:15

15 The Lord values the lives of his faithful followers.

 Values

Value of a human life ... how does one measure?

What if I had one hundred slaves ... would that be a treasure?

What if I was a CEO of a company with thousands?

Would I be rich indeed with the souls that I encountered?

It is written and so true that every individual human

is a treasure beyond measure as God’s Son has proven.

Heaven and earth are no trade ... for a dead spirit who is saved.

It’s hard to understand these values ... looking at humanity’s waste.

It so true that red, black, yellow ... and white are all the same

in the measure of God’s love ... in value to His Holy Name.

If made in His Image ... why despise another race?

Is it because my image ... is written on my face?

And not in the heart ... where issues of life are woven.

Maybe the flake I am today ... is far from God’s own movement.

The fault is me, no doubt there ... where good is lost the most.

It is there where death rules all ... and impurities are the host.

If I really was like Christ ... my Host would be His Longing.

For me to dwell in the Image of God ... can only be in His Calling.

Transformed into His Image ... renewed in mind the issue.

Whatever happened at the Fall ... is now Satan's tissue.
