Valley of the Ocean

Here I stand forevermore waiting for the light,

The moonlight beams and brings me dreams of what there is in store.

As I lie I think of time and days we have no more,

Each day a flight for heaven might

Temporarily let us through the door.

But for now as the moon beams bright like the burning at my core,

And the yearning for the day that we are separated nevermore.
