Valentines

Hearts race and minds soar
Love fills the very void within us
We give red roses and kisses,
We give heart-shaped sweets and hugs
Pink, purple, red, and white presents can be seen all around
Gifts are given all throughout
Heart balloons float behind so many
Teddy bears are held in arms so tightly
Affection is shown timelessly
Lust becomes a lucent scent,
It overwhelms the air with sweet eagerness
Couples wait to join together,
So they may rejoice and celebrate on this special day
And so they show their feelings
Hearts filled with love, one hand holding another
We must all be happy and have fun with the one we love
So goes a bittersweet, wonderful Valentines Day, every February.
