Harvard and Yale keep mailing me

They must not have gotten my last SAT

Some Christian college won't stop trying

They must not know I follow Neil Degrasse Tyson

Where then, should I be applying?

"You're better than a state school," my mother says

"But worry not, you've got another year, now off to bed."

A year shrinks with weekends and a summer gone by

The young have no place for the future in mind

How then, can I have time to apply?

I could settle for that state school

Or risk the almost certain death of Ivy League admissions

I could shoot for moon

But rocketing into space wouldn't solve this earthly condition

I still don't know where to apply
