My LoveHe was mean, but for an unknown reason Kind and loving all the same He was protective of those near him, but never too much to let them know how he loved them so His walls were strong and heavily, built as a lion's den, but as easy to tear away a a stack of hay He was almost as gorgeous outside as he was inside Funny, yet reasonable, and as wise as an old man, but as curious and arrogant as a childHe walked with such a pride stride that no one ever tried to bring downYet darkness grew inside of him that he was yet to find and little did i know he was never mine
