Expendable, that is the fate of every Soldier,
Regardless of medals and scares.

Forever being the bold,
Though blind from seeing this truth that is harsh,
Forever to remain, hard and cold.

In this world and the next,
I shall carry this flag,
Being forever expendable.
That is the tale of this Soldier.

Preserving our freedom,
My honor remains eternal.
To never rest,
To never fade,
Though I am expendable.
