untitled

You don't need a weapon because your mind is enough,
the only thing that can hurt you is a perception that's rough,
Staring into a broken mirror does not show who you are,
but neither do you scars,
do not let pain define you.

Never ending railroad tracks,
tattooed on your arm,
a dried up river,
flowing down your face.

No matter what you do it will always rain,
clouds never disappear and the thunder will return,
but for now open your curtains and let the light in,
its sunny outside.
