Unmasked Nirvana

How have I fallen victim to this bane?

This stone I call a heart suddenly beats.

Black icy shields held up by putrid chains,

Crumble and bleed like swollen tender meat.

My barbed soul blackens the world from my sight.

Scaly skin rejecting any rapture.

But thou hast stabbed the clouds to free the light,

 And revealed my exposed interior.

Thine eyes glow like a winters setting sun,

A soul as pure as untouched placid snow.

Thy purity a tabooed temptation.

How can thou see through the dark and hollow?

Have I grown weak for feeling such a thing?

Has thee tamed the beast and freed the being?
