Unlocked - (YOWO- Poetry Slam)

Fri, 01/17/2014 - 11:43 -- Rembri

If life were only poetry,

I would write my life away.

    Avoiding the constant struggle,

When hardships stop to "play".

    If life were but simplicity,

A constant epiphany i would vow.

Letting the lacey wings liberate me.

From poetry and it concious avow.

With the writing I weild. The words ink my soul.

       Etching across my essence.

    I am whole.

There is nothing else to fathom,

    Nothing else to fear.

For poetry holds the keys to the soul.

Unlocking it when it's most dear.
