Unknown Horror

"Unknown Horror"

Drained and drowsy from head to toe,

Weak and weary, all I know,

Uncontrollable sorrow and ache,

I pray for the better before I wake.

Sudden silence seals the light,

Darkness slowly stumbles the fight,

Peril falls towards closing time,

Secluding myself from peace of mind.

The ceiling decreasing lower and lower,

Eyes shivering from unknown horror,

Stomach knot caves me still,

Sickening nightmare becoming real.

Cold and confused from head to toe,

Eternal and empty, all I know,

Uncontrollable sorrow and ache,

I pray for the better before I wake.
