A cup has no identity
No characteristic that sets it apart
Surrounded by uniformity
Absolutely nothing unique

A light bulb has no identity
Mass produced in monotony
Same parts, same process
Void of anything unique

A pencil has no identify
It can create so much
Yet look the same as all the rest
Longing to be unique

That’s the beautiful thing about the human race
Every person of every race
has an identity
They have a characteristic that sets them apart
They break the monotony
bringing forth personality
They have different makeups and background and ideas
They are not empty
but rather overflowing with all things unique

That’s just the problem though
The human race is too obsessed with sameness
That they create everything without identity
Cups, light bulb, pencils
They fail to see that, unique is beautiful
Sameness is unnatural
And that the world is a better place,
When individuals embrace those
Who are different than themselves.
