The unexpected

I am not what others expect

A strong rumble of rain in a desert

The look of surprise

Through the Natives eyes.

I am like everyone else

A mere spec of the unknown

The waiting truth.

What are we to lose?

I am not like everyone else

All the stars in the night sky

So unique yet undefined

Of course I’ve told lies

I am the product of my own speech

Imprints of the law

Freedom flows like Fernwrens

My words can mend

I am not what others may say

I am me and cannot be changed.
