Understand

So please,

Tell me why people starve so much,

 until they die.

Tell me why I never asked for handouts.

I had to get it all,

on my own

Started so young and seems so grown

Big heart for everybody else but none,

For my own

Now ya trippin’ if you ever felt sad to have a  home.

That got me thinkin’ a lot to the dome.

Cause you see here,

You see

Sometimes people choose not to eat

Sometimes my stomach hurt when I had nothing to eat

Because

Mama can ́t put food on the table because,

She was drowned in heroin,

I was drowning in all her fables .

See now I never gave her a label but

Mama

Never blame nobody for my struggles because,

I'm honored

To have a life

When i was a child never had to pay a dollar

But you see I had to run to what I wanted when I got older

Because

I had

An angel and a devil on my shoulder.

Understand

I never planned for what slipped out my hands

I never planned for which people belong on this land,

And i stand

And will die

With everything that i have said

And will say

Just damn

Understand.
