Under the mask

Everyone wears a mask

Maybe it's out of fear

Though if you were to ask

You'd get what you'd want to hear

I'm human, as everyone can see

But my feelings are hidden deep

Behind the mask is the real me

The secret that I keep

I'm not as strong as I seem

On the inside, I'm afraid

But what you see is a dream

A fictitious me I made

Who could I really be?

If you look close enough, you'll see
