Unattractive

Looking in the mirror and see nothing attractive. Seeing myself for the creature I am. The looks deceive but I can see inside. I see the ugly person of the past that haunts the surface. The ghost of the damage created. The shell of a person. The mirror reflects the lost, vacant eyes. The soul has been chewed up and spit out. Gone is the light, sparks may try to fly out to be seen but wither as the vile being catches and rips it apart. I am nothing more than what I see. This is what I see but even I know it isn't the real me.
