The Ultimate Victory

It was fleeting,

Never around.

I searched,

Lost, not to be found.

Map in hand,

Advice in mind.

I tried it all,

Yet life was not kind.

Battle after battle,

Over something so small.

I lost every fight,

My armor took a toll.

Broken, shattered,

Engulfed by sadness.

I had been defeated,

Nearing madness.

But then I saw it,

That unfamiliar warm light.

It blanketed my body,

I finally found sight.

No longer a child,

No longer difficult.

I destroyed my enemy,

In one fell swoop.

They pleaded for surrender,

But I cared no more.

I gave them no mercy,

None to my Bipolar Disorder.

Goodbye anxiety.

Hello, happiness.

I thought you forgot about me,

But with your presence, I am now blessed.
