Two Sides of The Same Coin

I'm surrounded by these barbie dolls

their make-up so plastered

like those white walls,

Noses up in the air

proud and feared

as if they're drowning in this atmosphere.

They spit on those seats so low

occupy the thrones

but they don't know, you reap what you sow.

Heck, keep your green

and your fast machine.

The thing I got,

it's nothing you can beat.

I got real friends,

not no gold-digger fiends.

My family is loyal,

not some sneaky theives.

We may be different,

we may be poor,

but just know this

You don't know what God got in store,

for my family and me

Maybe one day, we'll be on top

and you'll be kissing our feet.
