Two Cents

The trip to the Grocery store gave me change,

It ends up in the cup holder left to rot.

I go out for coffee with some friends,

I just throw the pennies in the pot.

Now it's time to vacuum the car,

To lasy to lazy to pick up lose coins,

The suction gets a tip

And eats it up with that clanking noise.

When the poor man asks if I have something to spare with his cup held out

Now I have to say no,

Because I've already thrown it out.

Wasteful I have been,

How could I be so ignorant.

People are out here starving,

How could I be so Insensitive?

Oh, How we as people need to change,

I'm surely not alone on this one.

Many more are ungrateful and spoiled.

One wouldn't know how to act if what they had was all gone.

All I ask is to rectify your morals

get them to be more open minded, not so dense.

Well there you have it.

I have given you my Two Cents.
