Twist & Shout

Just past the hall

Sitting in the cold

I mentally unfold

While watching baseball

School has begun again

And though I feel in vain

I lift my head up

And shout "There's no giving up!'

As I dance around the room

With the Beatles blasting loud

I bid adieu to my gloom

And feel like a cloud

I shout to my friends

That my misery is no longer

That I have become stronger

Only twists and shouts of glee

Now heard from me
