A Twin's Requests

I am twin, and sure sometimes it’s great

But I think I should set some things straight

Don’t go up whisper in my ear and ask me “Did she hear?”

Don’t pinch me then question if she felt it too

Because I will tell you right now; none of that is true

Please don’t ask me where she is because I will know about as well as you

I have a name and trust me it isn’t “twin” or “thing 1” and “thing 2”

I don’t care if you get my name wrong just as long as you try

Please, don’t ask me who the better twin is

Because you aren’t expected to list your flaws and neither should I

Now I understand these requests may be easy to forget

So don’t feel bad, I promise I won’t get mad
