The Twin Life Chose Me

You say it's cool and you think it's fun having someone look like you.

"That's a miracle!" they say,

"It's a blessing!" they cooh,

"You have someone to share clothes with!" they exclaim.

Yet I am without an identity.

One part of the package.

One of two.

One of the twins.

One whose name is never remembered.

Never just

One.
