It is Thanksgiving afternoon

Different is the celebration

We must now wear a mask

In order to safely see Christmas

Due to the crazy pandemic season

Where people for no obvious reason

Are infected, get sicker and die

Keep listening to leaders who don’t lie

COVID-19 is contagious and fatal

Please be prudent and be very careful

Follow the guidelines and start eating

The food is delicious. Keep on digging

Bon appétit folks! The turkey is ready

Enjoy, have fun and drink responsibly!
