Turbulence

683 miles from home I flew no longer at home but in a whole new world

A place so different so clean a fresh a second chance of  home to beat the rest

New friends new foes a few up and a lot of downs but still I am here

survived so much did so little the nice ones always finish last they say

but maybe just maybe ill finish first today

a new broken path filled with lots of crack a 13 hour train ride to get back

a hard travel a broken shoe a ripped up coat shows how much I've been through

to the haters and the doubt to the naysayers and the crowders

to the ones who said she be crying in a week

I laugh at you becasue you make look perfect with you new clothes, and high end shoes

your made up faces and expensive hair

but whn people see me they dont see black tear streaks running down my face

they see scars on my back where people stabbed me holes in my shoes from walking alone

callus on my hands from working hard my coats torn to shredd from violent storms

and people trying to hold me back

I might look messed up I might look crazed but its proof that I have survived turbulence

and I here for another day.
