Truth through my eyes

Education

Its to prepare you for the icy cold grip the world has on you.

"once you leave here they wont be as forgiving" they say

they say.... but that doesnt mean their right.

school for me is the hell they speak of.

school for me grabs me by the throat with its demon like claws and throws me against a wall called ice

The wall is the wall you stand against when all the socially composed jocks whip the red rubber toward you cowering frame.

"once you leave here they wont be as forgiving" they say

Meanwhile theres teachers who cant seem to accept scientific proof that anxiety is real

they have you stand in front of the class nervous and on the verge of tears all while saying

"relax everyone gets a little nervous sometimes"

"once you leave here they wont be as forgiving" they say

But when youre too scared to even walk down the hallways that just seem so endless is leaving really worht it?

You shouldnt be too scared to go to a place that vows your safety

you shouldnt be to scared to attend a place that vows for your education

you shouldnt dread waking up every morning thinking "why bother"

because as soon as you get out of the prison with icy bars and cement chairs youll be...

Free.
