Truth In The Making

Truth hurts
Just as love
What hurts more
Is when you sweep both
Under the rug
For heart's been toyed with
So much, so long
You close and stuff it
How cold it has become
How low I’ve gone
The lengths to find out
Who I am
To be a man
Only to get there
I find, how afraid
I really am
How crazy, how hurt
How my past,
How mad I’ve been
How it has made me push back or attack
Any God has or wants me to have
I’ve gone back & forth
What’s worse, is it gets worse
Seems as if I’ve been cursed
Its hurts
Internally though
Something bigger is at work
He sees the bigger picture
At work!
It’s an awakening
That can only be fulfilled
By first being forsaken
Its then we know!
How we truly are
A Miracle
In the Making
