Trust Fall

Fri, 04/28/2023 - 19:00 -- yeah

Inhale.

Chest crushing lungs.

Trust being pushed.

Exhale.

Chest releasing its grip, but still holding on ever so slightly.

Trust standing at the edge of a cliff.

Left foot forward.

Steps don't shake the rocks.

Please don't fall.

Right foot forward.

Feet are next to each other again, sanity partly regained.

One step closer to the cliff.

Turn around?

There is no turning back.

Trust is about to fall.

Closed eyes.

Darkness protecting Trust.

Seeing what happens would scar Trust more than the fall.

Jump.

There are no hands rescuing Trust now.

I'm on my own.
