Trickle-down belief

Mark 9:24 New King James Version (NKJV)

24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

A trickle-down belief I’m under constant drip

Imposed by man or by self, I guess I’m wet all over.

Opinions on the rampage through private interpretation

of truths in the bible forcing the meek to move over.

Man’s conglomeration of his own intellect

ruled by his mind or the mind of others.

Searching for some truths to impress the gathered

becoming willing victims until darkness smothers.

Gone too quick, gone too far. It is too late to follow

I am already so worn-out lying on the ground

Why is there a mystery and constant consternation?

I’m looking up at the sky on my way going down
