TREVOR FLAWLESS (greased and polished)

Location

TREVOR FLAWLESS

(greased and polished)

When you're standing tall and proud,

that's when they'll do anything to break you down.

They break your knees and hit your face.

You get the message: "I'm a huge disgrace".

You're standing a lot less tall and a lot less proud.

You feel your steps slowly letting go of the purpose they once held.

You're at your lowest point, they brought you here.

But just as you run out of fumes;

you feel something inside you start to bubble.

Only then do you realize what you were made for.

You were made for the struggle.

Because when I'm faced with adversity

I always triumph and I always overcome.

Because it's the fight within me that escapes adversity's claws.

It's the fight within me that polishes all my flaws.

It's the fight within me that makes me flawless.
