“If a tree falls in the middle of a forest, will anyone realize the tree is gone, that it has crashed to earth?”

My question is

“Does it work the same way for a broken heart?”

After the strike of lightning, the tree will split 

Breaking in two

Smacking off of the ground

After the pain, the heart will break, shatter, and drop to the floor

But much like the tree, will anyone really notice?

In a sea of wilderness, will one tree stand out when it seems so similar to the ones surrounding it?

Or will it fall without a sound?

Becoming another source of nutrition for the rotten insects feeding off of it

In a sea of broken people, will one shattered heart stand out?

Or will it slowly break without a sound?

Letting person after person stomp on its remains until there is nothing left

So now I will ask you

“Does it work the same way for a broken heart?”
