Trans-Atlantic

Location

Life had brought him 'crost the world.

Where had the wind and seas arrived?

And when the clouds had near unfurled,

This valley came to catch his eye.

And in this valley laid about,

Where years and weather had surely worn,

A city of stone, so strong and stout,

And there, a friendship too was born.

This friendship went for but a year,

And longer even past this time,

Before events had brought them near,

Where their children met and hearts collide.

The families began alone,

Separated by the sea.

But life had given hearts a home,

And love combined the families.

So trans-Atlantic was the man,

Where life had brought him 'crost the seas

Away from family and friends,

But to both is where life leads.
