Tranquility

When I was a child I was unaware

Of all the wrong in the world and how people didn't care

Now that I'm older I only think it is fair

That we help those whom have nothing to wear.

I want to be in the business of making dreams come true

Whether it's abroad or here in the red, white, and blue

We, the well off, have not a clue

Of the other side of poverty's view.

Whether I work for a giant or do alone

My goal is help those who have less than none

We take for granted all of the possessions we own

While quality of life is almost nonxistant for some.

My call to help starts with humility

And it reaches into every city

Somehow, there is always a possibility

Of God reaching down and delivering tranquility.
