Tradition

The days of old hold value, courage, and honesty

The children respect their parents

The people expect honesty

Men and Women stand up for what is right

What about the days of now?

The days of now hold value, courage, and honesty.

The children hold courage to stand up to bullies.

The people value those who are bold and trustworthy

Men and Women crave the honesty that should always be given.

What are the differences between then and now?

The days of old find homosexuality and interracial relationships repulsive.

The children sneer at those who dress differently.

The people turn a judgmental eye to those who hold the hand of someone of a different race.

Men and Women teach the children to reject those who show any signs of being different.

Do the days of now continue the pattern?

The days of now support homosexuality and interracial relationships.

The children show kindness to others even if they may seem different.

The people smile at the two races that come together in love.

Men and Women befriend others no matter their sexual orientation or ethnicity

Are the generations from the days of old as accepting?

The days of old teach people to reject change.

The children refuse different routines

The people outcast anything that may be different from the normal life

Men and Women object to the different life styles that arise as time progresses.

Do those from the days of now all oppose those ideals?

The days of now contain traditionalists who reject the change of society just as those from the days of old do.

The children point and laugh at the boy who dresses like a girl

The people whisper as the couple passes through with their interracial child.

Men and Women refuse to accept the orientations of which has been taught against.

What is this called? The acceptance and denial of the generations?

The days of old and now contain those who accept and those who reject.

The open-minded children grab the hand of the different child and drag them to the playground to play.

The close- minded children stare at the different child with a repulsive attitude radiating from them.

The open- minded people compliment the child of the interracial couple with sincerity.

The close- minded people treat the interracial child as an inferior because of the color of skin

The open- minded men and women support the homosexual couple who lives next door.

The close- minded men and women cast unrighteous judgment upon those who choose to live life a different way

What makes someone qualified to say that those who practice different sexual orientation are fucked up?

How does someone obtain the right to condemn those who do not follow their beliefs?

Why are those who have no control over who they love rejected just because their love isn’t the same as others?

Who decides what is seen as socially acceptable?

When is taught to children to treat other human beings as a lesser species?

Where are rules that say that other humans who are lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, black and white couples,

white and oriental couples, Hispanics and blacks, any combination are to be treated as the lesser group of individuals?

They are nowhere that I have ever seen.

Society infringes upon what is logical and moral.

Don’t allow those social rules and trends to alter your relationships.

Stand up against what is mainstream and frowned upon.

Do not give others that much control over your happiness.

Love who you were meant to love.

No matter how rejected it may be.
