The Toxic Woman

Location

She was death incarnate, a toxic drug.

My health was at risk, but still, I took her.

I was afflicte with this mental bug.

A year of my life, nothing but a blur.

Her heroin was potent and lustful.

Chasing the high I'd never see again.

Her manipulation was a handful.

Her toxicity was the bain of men.

Her tender embrace was a ruse, no less.

Sucking you dry, and leaving you broken.

To curb my addcition, I did my best.

A defiant word could not be spoken.

Trapped in a circle of love and hatred.

She won the fight, my heart lies cold and dead.
