Tomorrow's Dream

Location

Beaten down, succumbing to the sting

Of the pressure that this new world brings

All of us who can say we made it through

Feel more scared of society than of highschool

Emancipated from the holds of home

Leaving longing roots to go roam

We are the ones who will ask the questions

We will not move in the same old procession

This time we take our own paths;

Not the path anyone else has

I smile when I see the glow of perserverence

Taking over an inspired colleague's appearance

To know that they feel the same aspiration as I do

Sticks with me through the altercations I ensue

Look for the path to tomorrow's dream

'Tis only knit with loosely stitched seems

Love for yourself and for your peers

That's what will really persevere
