Time Pass

I have an official copyright to time pass
Bec I hold a patent in time pass for last 10 years
I have always been a proverbial timepasser by default
I was time passing when I dreamt of having a home in Amrapali township
I sold something very precious and irreplaceable to get the funds
It was perhaps the biggest time pass I ever indulged in
When the builder abruptly stopped work four years back
To visit site on every sunday in the faint hope of seeing the construction begin was a time pass
On umpteen holidays people were relaxing at home or visiting Malls for fun
We were time passing making rounds of police stations and Economic Offence Wing
After being turned away from government and authorities
Having left with no choice but to mobilise people to file a case in the Consumer court was again a time pass
While most of them were merrily taking selfies to get likes for their Facebook and Insta posts
We few were time passing making rounds of Jantar Mantar and Ministry of Urban development
When all these braggarts were sleeping cosily in their warm beds
We few cursed soul were time passing braving killer mosquitoes and pouring rain outside Amrapali office
Now after this unending time pass of last ten years
We find light at the end of tunnel courtesy time pass in Supreme court for last two years
You may find all this and more an excersise in futility or a time pass
But my dear friend! You should consider yourself lucky
Bec today if you have a glimmer of hope of getting your cherished homes in this good for nothing system
It's all due to time pass of few chosen men of honour
Who fought against all odds to make this impossible dream come true
So, please think before you disrespect this time pass
