Time Out

I do need a breather from the flavors of entanglement
I declare a full time out from all things combining intimacy, passion, and commitment
This is rare
As I can compare
But is the strongest and most enduring,
So true,
So reassuring
We share interests
Developed to an undying bonhomie
Both physical and emotional
Cunningly crafted
And still manage to travel the path on the maps that you drafted
But I'm trapped in the past,
As I act to surpass
You didn't tell, nor make a fuss
The pain is radiating down inside
Still...
