In May it will be time for me to fly,
My possessions I will have to tow,
Out of the nest that was built so high,
Far away from the dangers below.
The world is brutal and has no soul.
And I'll be out on my own,
My life is an unwritten scroll.
And no longer can I postpone,
The adventure I will undergo.
For there are children all alone,
And as a Social Worker I will go.
I will help the world grow,
To become a place that my mother will adore.
No more dangers from below,
Because human life will mean so much more.
There is no time to waste!
For lives are pricless,
And I am in quite a feverish haste.
I want the world to hate less,
I want the world to love more,
And I want the world to be a better place.
A place my mother can adore,
And where Our Father can give his loving grace.
