Through the Seasons

As summer dawns, our love is delicate like the sunflowers swaying gently in the breeze

As winter arrives, our love is wholesome – it’s the fire crackling to keep us warm

When skies appear clear, our love is as pure as two souls intertwined as one

If ocean waves crash, our love is blessed – a shield from the dancing water

As spring approaches, our love is soft like the cushion of fresh grass beneath our feet

As autumn leaves descend, our love is authentic such as the gold sunset painted across the sky

Throughout each new year, my love has flourished and season to season it is you I shall cherish

Through winter, spring, summer and fall, my darling, I promise it is you through it all
